R.H Thomson (Jasper Dale in Road to Avonlea & Frederick Wyatt in The Piano Man’s Daughter and The Priest in By Way of the Stars)

I’ve seen R.H. Thomson play Hamlet opposite Sheila McCarthy (Super Rupert’s Aunt Rhonda and Road to Avonlea’s Betty Blaine) Ophelia. In fact I’ve seen him onstage a couple of times. Each time, there was no trace of Jasper Dale in his performance. In Ashes, he played an Irish man in a childless marriage (Fiona Reid from the Sullivan show: P.R played his wife)

He is, in addition to being an exceptionally talented actor, one of Canada’s leading experts in, and teachers of, stage combat. Since 2004, Thomson has been involved with Shakespeare Works a group that brings professional actors to Ontario schools to workshop the Bard's plays.

Eric Peterson (as Professor Coburn in A Wind at My Back Christmas & Jack Doughty in Sleeping Dogs Lie)

Eric Peterson was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan. He is renowned for his roles in three major Canadian television series; Street Legal, Corner Gas and This is Wonderland. An actor for over 30 years, Eric Peterson has been associated with almost all of the major innovative theatres in Canada during their period of growth and establishment. He has been involved in the creation of many new Canadian plays, has played an important role in the promotion of Canadian culture and lately has been a strong advocate for Canadian performers in their fight for fair compensation.
