ISSUE 32 2007   |   COVER   |    Sullivanmovies.com

Thank you to all the people who put the E-zine together and our family just loves the Avonlea shows. My mother is in a retirement home now and we’ve finally gotten her all the videos to watch. I’m wondering if you can recommend any other programmes and movies for her to watch with all her friends there. She is not overly fond of very much of the junk that is on TV. Thank you for your thoughts. God bless.

Wilma and family in Louisville

Dear Wilma, Wilma’s Mom and friends,

Here are a few titles that your Mom might enjoy;

Movies: Our Town (TV 1977), Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Promise the Moon, The Grey Fox, My American Cousin, Loyalties, The Bay Boy, I Remember Mama

T.V Series: Wind at my Back, Upstairs Downstairs, Little House on the Prairie, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, Emily of New Moon, Leave it to Beaver, My Three Sons, The Partridge Family, Bonanza, The Big Valley, Little Men, The Waltons

Mini-series: The Anne Trilogy, By Way of the Stars, Love on the Land, North and South, The Thornbirds,

Dear Editor(s), my daughter and I love to cook together but some of your recipes are a little too long and difficult. Is it possible to add some recipes for kiddies?

P.S I’m wondering if young readers of the Anne books know about a great interactive diary website http://www.annesdiary.com

Thanks, Katey and Sammi

Dear Katey and Sammi,

Thank you for your letter. We would be happy to add a child-friendly recipe starting in the next issue. Also, thanks very much for letting us know about the Anne’s Diary website. Any idea that encourages children to write is okay by us.
